It’s wonderful exploring music on your own and sharing with others, but you compound the benefits by playing music together with other musicians. The size of the ensemble, whether a duet or small combo, or larger groups like chamber groups or orchestra, really does not matter. There can be no substitute for the experience of coming together: rehearsing, practicing and then performing an engaging concert with your musical friends! The group ensemble promotes personal confidence, social interaction, teamwork skills, time management and learning personal responsibilities to reach even higher goals.
